This course is an introduction to managerial accounting?and financial management with emphasis in healthcare organizations. Topics include: financial statements, cost behavior and profit analysis, planning and budgeting, time value analysis, financial risk and required return, long-term financing, equity financing, cost of capital, capital budgeting, and financial condition analysis. Prerequisites: ACCT 220.
